For patients

Tell us your budget

Choose a type of care, enter the most you can pay per visit, and briefly describe what you need help with.

Get matched

We show you verified professionals whose reduced rates fit your budget. Message them and confirm your fee before you book.

Book your visit

You and the professional receive each other’s contact information, so either of you can reach out to book an appointment. You pay the professional their agreed, discounted price directly.

Find a professional

Need to talk to someone today?

Choose “I need to talk to someone today” when you make your request. When you and a professional are both online, you can message each other and book an appointment right away, right here on the platform — so the professional can fill an opening immediately and you get help without waiting.

Your request stays open to online professionals for 60 minutes. If no one is online, a matching professional will contact you shortly.

For professionals

  1. Create your account and profile.
  2. Add your sectors and the reduced-fee range you will offer.
  3. Enter your College registration details and upload proof of registration, photo ID, and your insurance certificate.
  4. We verify your registration against the College’s public register.
  5. Once approved, you choose a plan and your profile goes live.

After you apply: how matching works

When a patient is matched with you, we email you their contact information and a short message from them. Please contact them as soon as you can to book an appointment.

If you can’t help — you’re unavailable, or you don’t offer the service they need — please let our team know, and we’ll match the patient with another professional. Contact our team

About the fees

AffordableHealth.ca is free for patients. We never take a share of what you pay for your care. Professionals pay to be listed, and the amount does not change based on how many patients they see; professionals receive full plan details when they apply.

Your privacy

We collect the minimum needed to match you: a general location, your budget, your preferred language, and a short, non-clinical description of what you need. We do not ask for your health history and we do not keep clinical notes.

Safety

This is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you are in a mental-health crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide Crisis Helpline). Crisis resources
